Attendance Correction Form

This is used when a teacher mistakenly marked a student absent, and it needs to be changed to present or tardy. Students can pick up the Attendance Correction form from their teacher or at the attendance office. The form would need to be filled out and signed by the teacher and returned to the attendance office window in a timely matter so the correction can be made. This information is at the top of Page 11 in the Student Handbook Book that each student picked up at registration.

Parent representatives play an important role as agents of communication between DJUSD and school parents. Their participation helps ensure transparency and a democratic process in decision making. Representatives from DHS are appointed by PTA (except the elected members of SCC). If you're interested in any openings, please contact the PTA president before the deadline as announced in the newsletter every year. Representatives are expected to present reports at PTA meetings which will be recorded in the minutes for public access. Some committees have online minutes. Please contact the representatives directly if you have any suggestions or questions.
