Committees With Parent Reps

The links include description of DHS and DJUSD committees with one or more parent representatives. Parent representatives play an important role as agents of communication between DJUSD and school parents. Their participation helps ensure transparency and a democratic process in decision making. Representatives from DHS are appointed by PTA (except the elected members of SCC). If you're interested in any openings, please contact the PTA president before the deadline as announced in the newsletter every year. Representatives are expected to present reports at PTA meetings which will be recorded in the minutes for public access. Some committees have online minutes. Please contact the representatives directly if you have any suggestions or questions.
