Wendy Mosher

Full Inclusion Program, Outstanding Educator 2003-04

Congratulations to Wendy Mosher, Full Inclusion Program teacher for being named the Outstanding DHS Educator for 2003-2004. Mrs. Mosher's patience, enthusiasm and dedication have earned the respect and admiration of her students and peer tutors alike. "She always has a smile on her face, and she takes her job very seriously...not everyone can do Mrs. Mosher's job, believe me it is tough!" "I've learned to take time out to talk to people to find out what they are about, not just what's on the outer side." "She loves her job; she is also the best at it." "She's fun and she loves to laugh...not only is she a great person, but a harder worker and a great teacher." "You gotta love Mrs. Mosher!"

In addition, this year honorable mentions are being awarded to Allison Hanson, Social Studies and Eleanor Neagley, English.

The PTA would also like to recognize the following nominees: Elizabeth Blake, Nancy Coulson, Sharon Hallberg, Michael Joyce, Fred Lange, Pam Mari, Sugano McHale, Jan Meizel, Jean Meyer, Joanne Moldenhauer, Angelo Moreno, Amy Schulte, and Kevin Williams. As one parent wrote, "Each of these dedicated professionals deserves recognition for the quality, enthusiasm, and dedication to students he or she brings to the classroom."

Thank you parents and students who took the time to submit nominations!
