The Pressure to Perform – How Much is Too Much Tue., 2/11/2003, 6:30-7:30 PM, DHS Library.

At the beginning of the year, we asked parents to vote on their choice of adult education topics to be offered by PTA throughout the school year. We presented the #1 request, "Drugs and Alcohol," last fall. The #2 requested topic, "The Pressure to Perform – How Much is Too Much" will be presented Tuesday, February 11, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the library (just prior to the PTA meeting). We had over 70 families request this topic, so we hope to see you there!

We'll discuss questions you have about the pressures your teenager is facing, how to help your young adult cope with the stresses, create reasonable boundaries and expectations, and how to know when your child is on overdrive and what to do about it.
