| Beyond Tolerance: To Understanding and Acceptance |
Wed., 5/4/2005, 6:30 - 7:30 PM, DHS LIBRARY. The greater Davis community and our DHS community have been faced with ugly, destructive behavior on our campus from both property vandalism and personal graffiti. We are proud of the efforts towards positive dialogue that have been promoted in our DHS community by our students. Eight students who have been involved in community awareness and education with regard to racial issues will be our panel at our Education Evening on May 4. Please join us to hear of their experiences at DHS so that we can all develop a greater understanding through dialogue with these students who live each day with these issues and are actively seeking understanding and solutions. |
