The Davis School Arts Foundation’s March 18TH ninth annual Young at Art! Festival netted over $1600 for the Davis public schools visual and performing arts programs!

It was a great day of continuous performances by district groups that ran the gamut from elementary school choruses and dance groups to junior and senior high jazz groups.  As always, the world’s best high school madrigal choir closed the day for us.  While these groups performed, over a dozen hands-on art activities for children as well as parents were offered in other areas of the festival. It was a true celebration of everything art should be in public education.

The Davis School Arts Foundation is an all-volunteer, non-profit foundation whose mission is to support and celebrate the arts in the Davis public schools.  If you’d like to make a contribution to the DSAF, it can be sent to: DSAF PO Box 4302 Davis, Ca. 95617.
