Friendship Day

This is an all-day program implemented by DHS to promote a positive school environment.  It occurs seven times a year. The idea is to provide a setting and activity to bring diverse students together to promote communication and understanding.  Participants are recruited by Friendship Day facilitators who ask teachers and counselors for their recommendations.  If your student has never been chosen and you think it might be a good activity, we suggest you contact your student’s counselor.
